The Venice Film Festival’s independently run section has unveiled a mixed range of titles from well-known directors as well as new talents.
Media reported that Venice Days section will feature 11 of 12 competition titles scheduled for world debuts.
Among the competion highlighs are Canadian director Kim Nguyen's 'Eye on Juliet' and 'Life Guidance' by Austrian director Ruth Mader. The Venice Day's subsections also include Women’s Tales Project and Special Events
The 14th edition of Venice Days will be held as a sidebar event alongside the Venice Film Festival on August 30-September 9.
The Venice Film Festival or Venice International Film Festival, founded in 1932, is the oldest film festival in the world and one of the "Big Three" film festivals alongside the Cannes Film Festival and Berlin International Film Festival.
